Samasaya presents a traditional brownie with a new look. Covered with a creamy glace of Samasaya sateh sauce and lots of chocolate.
Grab a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian dessert!
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
Step 2: Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. When melted, let it cool slightly.
Step 3: Mix the sugar, eggs, cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Step 4: Add the chocolate butter mixture to the bowl and mix it all together.
Step 5: Pour the mixture into a 20 cm baking pan and bake the brownies for 40 – 45 minutes. Let cool before pouring over the glaze.
Step 6: Mix the ingredients for the glaze together in a pan. Heat gently while stirring on a low heat. When everything has melted, turn the heat up a little and let it simmer for 2 minutes with continuous stirring (don’t forget the bottom). Pour over the brownie and allow to cool slightly before serving.
