Take a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian meal!
Step 1: Drain the tofu before use.
Step 2: Cut the tofu into 1 cm cubes. Beat the eggs with the garlic powder, salt and white pepper.
Step 3: Cut the cucumber lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut in moons. Wash and drain the bean sprouts. Finely chop the celery leaves. Optional: Chop half a red onion.
Step 4: Heat the oil in the frying pan and fry the tofu cubes until they are light brown. Then add the beaten eggs.
Step 5: Make sure the omelet is firm enough when you turn it around. Do this possibly with the help of a plate or lid. If the omelet is nicely browned on both sides, scoop the omelet onto a plate.
Step 6: Heat the Samasaya sateh sauce. Divide the sliced cucumber, bean sprouts and satay sauce over the omelet. Then sprinkle with some Samasaya ketjap manis to taste. Finally, garnish with the sliced celery, red onion and / or fried onions.
Tip! Eat the omelet with cooked pandan rice and crackers of your choice as a full diner!
