Gado gado noodle salad

How good does this richly filled noodle salad look ?! Full of crunchy vegetables (mountains of vitamins), sateh sauce and to top it off: a boiled egg.

Shopping list

  • Samasaya egg noodles : 1
  • Samasaya sateh sauce : 1 jar
  • Eggs : 4
  • Cucumber : 1
  • Spring union : to garnish (2 pieces)
  • Carrot : 200 g
  • Red cabbage : 200 g

Grab a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian cuisine!

Step 1: Boil the egg noodles according to the instructions and let cool.

Step 2: Use a cheese slicer or vegetable peeler to slice the carrot lengthways into ribbons. Cut the cucumber into moons and finely chop the red cabbage.

Step 3: Cook the eggs semi-soft (about 5-6 minutes) and pour the boiling water over the bean sprouts. Rinse the eggs with cold water, remove the skin and cut into eighths.

Step 4: Divide the noodles, vegetables and eggs among the plates. Serve with spring onion and sateh sauce.
