Gado gado sandwich

A lunch dish that will make everyone drool, from your in-laws to your colleagues! The gado gado sandwich is vegetarian and is served on a crispy baguette. Packed with crunchy vegetables and to top it off a good dollop of spicy satay sauce.


  • Samasaya sateh sauce : 1 jar
  • Baguette : 1
  • Eggs : 4
  • Cucumber : 1
  • Spring onion and red pepper : to garnish (2 pieces)
  • carrot : 100 g
  • Red cabbage : 100 g

Grab a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian cuisine!

Step 1: Use a cheese slicer or vegetable peeler to slice the carrot lengthwise into ribbons. Cut the cucumber into moons and finely chop the red cabbage.

Step 2: Boil the eggs semi-soft (about 5-6 minutes) and pour the boiling water over the bean sprouts. Rinse the eggs with cold water, remove the shell and cut into eighths.

Step 3: Cut open the baguette and spread with the satay sauce. Divide the vegetables and eggs onto the baguette and cut into desired portions. Serve with small diced spring onion and red pepper.
