Kecap tempeh with paprika

Due to the mild sweet taste, this dish is a favorite with children.

Shopping list

  • Samasaya Kecap spice paste : 1 sachet
  • Pandan rice : 300 g
  • Olie : 2 tbsp
  • Tempeh : 400 g
  • Red bell pepper : 1
  • Yellow bell pepper : 1

Optional: Samasaya krupuk / sambal of choice

Grab a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian cuisine!

Step 1: Cook the rice according to the preparation method on the package. Cut the bell peppers and tempeh into thin strips.

Step 2: Heat the oil in a wok pan and brown the strips of tempeh on all sides.

Step 3: Add the sweet soy sauce spice paste and pepper strips and heat for 4-8 minutes. Serve the soy sauce dish with the rice and add sambal if desired.
