Sambal Goreng

This spicy curry is delicious due to the combination of beans and shrimps. Alternate the shrimp for tempeh for a vegetarian variant.

Shopping list:

 

  • ┬áPandan rice : 250g
  • Green beans, fresh or frozen : 200g
  • Oil : 1el
  • Large shrimps : 200g
  • Coconut milk : 150ml

 

Optional: Samasaya krupuk of choice

Preparation:

 

Take a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian cuisine.

 

Step 1: Cook the rice according to the preparation method on the package. Cook the beans until done. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Fry the Sambal Goreng spice paste in the oil for 1 minute. Add the shrimp and fry briefly.

Step 3: Add the coconut milk and bring to the boil.

Step 4: Then add the beans and stir well until everything is warm and cooked. Serve the beans and shrimp with white rice.

 

Selamat Makan! Vegetarian? Replace the shrimp for 200g of tempeh and follow the method of preparation described above.
