Balinese curry

The combination of chicken, green beans and cashes will give an explosion of flavors on your plate that you cannot get enough of!

Shopping list

  • Samasaya curry paste Bali: 1
  • Pandan rice: 250 g
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Chicken fillet, diced: 400 g
  • Coconut milk: 100 ml
  • Green beans, broken: 200 g
  • Baby corn: 200 g
  • Cashew nuts: 50 g
  • Lime: 1

Optional: Samasaya krupuk of your choice.

Vegetarian? Replace the meat for 200 g chickpeas and 200 g baby potatoes.

Preparation method

Take a drink and relax, we are going to cook a delicious Indonesian cuisine!

Step 1: Cook the rice according to the preparation method on the box.

Step 2: Fry the Balinese spice paste in 2 tbsp oil. Add the sliced chicken and fry briefly.

Step 3: Add the coconut milk and green beans, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until the desired thickness is reached. Add the baby corn in the last 5 minutes.

Step 4: Serve the curry with white rice. Garnish with roughly chopped cashew nuts and a slice of lime.
